Skate 2 (Xbox 360)

So i got Skate 2 yesterday, i started playing later on around 10 to 11 PM, it's so awesome, i haven't gotten to create a character yet, though i suck at the game and i beef a lot, i still find it fun, i miss getting high speed and air back in those old Tony Hawk games for the PS1, but i'll get better at this game! I've so far played as Slappy, i tried some Freeskate offline and Freeskate online, Freeskate online is definitely funner than offline Freeskate :D

By the way, what does the x2 and x3 thing mean at the bottom left of the screen mean? It goes away after a while, but i don't see much of a change in my speed or air

I've never played Skate 2, but it may be a point multiplier?

Yes, a point multiplier.  :D

It goes away after a certain amount of time you don't do anything(stop your line).  The longer it goes the harder it is to keep up.  Probably the longest line would have a variety of tricks, because if you are doing the same tricks the bar won't raise as much, plus you'll start to get pretty much no points for doing the trick, as it gets stale.

when i was little i loved the tony hawk games...

..but now i hate how unrealistic it can be, like how high you can go and stuff. i like skate better <3

I tried the demo and Liked it better than Skate 1. But then I played the full version on my friend's PS3 and the controls/physics were alot different from the Xbox 360 demo. That kind of made me not want it anymore... I'll have to rent it and see if it's like that on the Xbox 360 before I buy it.
