This game is quite a bit different from any game I have thus far played. The learning curve is steep, but once you learn how to play, this game is Amazing. It is also free.

Allegiance is a free, online, multi-player space simulation game. You pilot spacecraft, flying in a team with other players, defending and attacking sectors in space. Allegiance challenges your tactical ingenuity, your ability to function in a team and your prowess at blowing stuff up.

The training exercises are agreeably boring, and I recommend you skip all of it but the last 2

You need to put in some info, what is this an RTS? FPS? Some other generic letter named genre?

Teal, did you try actually playing in a game, or did you only try the training? Skip most of the training, and only play the last 2, then try playing in an online server.

Sounds cool. Haven't played a space MMO that I've liked so far, but I'll try it tomorrow.

No exact number, but its not a massive amount of people. They are in need of new players, and are currently "very" newb friendly. There are enough players that large games are possible

So this is exactly like EVE Online...except it manages to fail even harder because it is designed for cheap bastards.

Actually it was made by Microsoft is 2000 and then discontinued in 2002 and made free where the community took over its "development."

err, no. This game is NOTHING like Eve online other than the fact you fly a craft in space
