I don't think you can, there is host_timescale 0, but then you'll freeze everything, including yourself

No big deal at this point, the particles didn't add much effect anyways.

I was gonna destroy stuff, and do phys_timescale 0, and move around it to give a sort of "frozen in time" feeling. It looks cool without particles though.
