Author Topic: Donkey Kong 64! :D  (Read 1580 times)

A while ago, I got an N64 from a friend. It's onyx black, runs the games we got with it well, but there's one game I've been addicted to recently. Donkey Kong 64. I dunno why, it's a rather stupid plotline, but it's really fun. Does anybody play it besides me?

I hated DK64. It's just... not a good game, especially compared to all the good N64 games.

...but it's so... addicting  D:   the only times I don't play it are when I'm on the computer or crashing my Wii with the Black hole glitch  :P

I loved that game, haven't played it in so long...

Diddy Kong Racing beats your Donkey Kong64 any* day >:P

Diddy Kong Racing ftw.

I need to get that and DK64 for my 64 :c

I remember When I beat the game and unlocked all the characters I would just roam around as all the characters and it was really fun.

Black hole glitch?

Black hole glitch?
:O You don't know it?! You need two Foxes and a random character. The two foxes stand on either side of a hole and hold Down + B (reflector) and the other character is on one of the Fox's team. The other character takes a Rifle weapon w/ inf ammo glitch done to it and shoots bullets through their partner at a certain rythm. If all is done right the bullet travels back and forth between the sheilds w/o running out super owered and super quickly. The other person can jump into this and they are hit so hard you are physically unable to see them fly off of the screen.

Unlimeted ammo glitch? And how does shield last so long?

Just look it up. It will probably come up as Melee, but it doesn't matter, the guns are the same. The shield lasts until you release it or it breaks, but it is part of the glitch that it doesn't break.....

Back on topic?

I remember when I was little I could never beat it because I failed at Donkey Kong arcade classic and couldn't get the nintendo coin for the last key, and when I finally got it I was like OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG I AM SO GOOD AT THIS GAME OMFGOMFG.

I liked DK64. I couldn't ever beat the arcade game either, I ended up putting the game aside. A few months ago I decided I'd like to beat it. I blew the dust of my N64, put it in the console and discovered that my N64 doesn't work anymore.

I was disappointed it wasn't on virtual console.

fun. sorta seemed like a generic adventure genre, but i guess generic didn't really exist back then when all the games for the n64 were all so original...unless they copied/ make a sequel to a game on the nes/snes.

i actually watched my friend play it today...

needs moar crash bandicoot
