you can refund steam games?

I found Spore fell quite short of expectations. For an open ended game, it didn't really feel very open ended at all. Having said that, creature creation was fun.

Everything was too short D:

It seemed just as I had mastered having a tribe it turned into a civilization. The space part was fun though.

I would be inclined to agree. I found it extremely and oddly linear, I only got to the creature stage and I stopped playing because I got stuck. I watched my brother play past there, and I really found it rather pointless and challenging.

I equivilate Spore to Sim City, but less fun. You get very limited tools to design what the buildings look like, but not what they do, and you're told exactly where to put them, but left to your own devices.

If you bought it digitally, you can get a refund for it fyi.
How?

Took me 3 hours to download it.

But I sold both SPORE and the parts pack and the download protection service, so I got $80 in return. Spent $25 out of $55 on L4D.

I thought your brother bought it for you.

the next expantion should be good.

yay for beaming back onto planets!

It took me about 50 minutes to install the game.... then about 4 hours to beat it...... Over all, its a short, fun, not very multiplayer-ish, game. I like it :)

It took me over a day to get to civilization when i played last, Because i like to explore the creature stage and with the latest patch installed theres alot of parts to collect in it

How?
Simple. You have to call them (And wait godforget 45 minutes, thank God for rollover minutes) and give them the credit card(s) you used to pay for the product(s).

He did. I simply borrowed his credit card again in order to give the credit card number used and the security code.

Steam gave some people who got GTA IV refunds

Lol, that's just an insult to Rockstar.
