So it lacks the character development and attachment of the first person shooter, whilst it's incredibly over simplified control scheme and interface is a crime to RTS games everywhere.
I think I need to coin a new term "IP Rape".
Unlike say, Dawn of War which took a table-top strategy game and turned it into an Real Time Strategy game, taking an FPS and turning it into an RTS (or vice versa) has often proved unsuccessful and is a deplorably shallow abuse of an Intellectual Property.
It's akin to being the handicapped inbred result of 10 cases of beer, 3 horny interns and one power-craving lead designer trapped in a room with a big pile of cash and talent.
