anybody worth their salt knows of rock raiders, insectoids, ice planet, and everything else from the 90s

kids these days don't know.
if you weren't born in the 90s you retroactively do not exist.

Well I was born in the 90s, but it was in July of 1999, so... I don't remember it.

That Rock Raiders RTS was the stuff

i was born in 96. i dont know if i have the license to say i'm a 90s kid

I didn't get to build the rock raider sets but I have a lot of the prices from a few sets with the original instructions, same with x-wing and y-wing

And countless other stuff like the underwater sets

No you would have had to been born like 89-92 to be considered a 90's kid

But I was born 95 and I still remember all those classic sets. No one ever bought them for me though.

I was born in 1997, but I had regular lego at a young age. I had Life on Mars, Arctic, Rock Raiders, and just an assortment of random bricks/figs. The great thing about being 4 is that older kids can still your stuff easily. RIP, all of my original figs, my rockmonster, my crystals and my drill.

All of my first Lego sets were Bionicles, from '97 and onward...

That's why I was so crushed to hear that the series was being discontinued.
