Yeah, i'm with Badger on this one.

I mean, people can make some pretty sweet things with their parts, like Lalam, but other than that, they're pretty meh.

@MrApplyPie, im going to have to make my own minifig scale mech now, to show who the real alpha is!

I can see how people like bionicles sort of but they don't appeal to to that much, I also feel like there's never enough parts

old bionicle was great because it was lego-y and kinda chunky. everything looked like it was made out of the same parts and not out of special molded bricks. The newest stuff was more trying to compete with other action figures instead of trying to be a LEGO set.
Chances are I won't buy many or any of the newest bionicles just because they dont appeal to me, however I'll probably have to get a new subscription to the LEGO magazine because I have the full collection of all the other bionicle comics and I don't want to end up with something incomplete when the new issues start coming out.

I await to see what you build :)

For me, Bionicle was less about the LEGO sets themselves and more the story (at least as I got older it was). 'Cause DANG LEGO did well with the Bionicle storyline - super original and the whole nine yards - that is, until it up and died.

So guys, I've been sorting through LEGO today. Still very very far away from buying replacement parts, but I think I've finally nailed my entire history of LEGO sets:

http://rebrickable.com/profile/McJobless/sets

I have had 106 sets total which I've counted thus far (although a few might be up for debate since they're so close to other sets). One problem though; there's this one little piece that I cannot figure out where it comes from:

I've never ever owned a Pirate set. That said, my Dad might have, but I don't have any of the parts from any of the sets it appeared in. The part's ID is 973p34 (Peeron) and name is "Minifig Torso with Open Jacket over Striped Vest Pattern". My Dad's sets are all from between 1970s to 1989.

Not that you guys are going to find it, I'm just leaving this as a reminder to myself so that I as I push forward, I hopefully find at least one more unique piece that matches the listed sets and I can finally lay this bird to rest.

And before you ask, I've only ever had full sets, or parts given to my friend which were mostly (about 6 or less parts missing) or fully complete sets (I've counted them in my 106).

guys help me

What's the best way to sort LEGOS?

I have 2 giant boxes and 4-5 smaller ones.

They contain 5 buckets of extra pieces, and roughly 30 sets.

It's from an 80's or 90's medieval set, just can't remember which one

On me birthday In staid of  400 legos, I GOT 1000!

The way I'm doing it is to figure out every set you've owned (use Rebrickable or Peeron since they have accurate inventories for the parts (except Rebrickable doesn't count minifigures except in the newest sets)), and then I sort my bricks first by colour, and then I go through again and sort them into set.

Someone will probably scold me but I've found it enjoyable so far.
