I have proof that LEGO took inspiration from Mass Effect when they made Bionicle.

I was watching Bionicle 2: Legends of Metru-Nui again, and it struck me that Makuta has a lot in common with the Reapers.

  • They both robots
  • They both harvest people
  • They both have deep voices
  • They both have a purpose which they’ve screwed up
  • They both want the hero to become one of them
  • They’re both bat-stuff insane

those are all features of like, any super villain ever. except robot.

Bricklink is confusing but cool

They can also both fly, have lazer death beams, can be considered "forerunner races" (aka they're extremely old and powerful), can indoctrinate anybody, and have a god-complex (they were created by the precursors of either franchise and both believe themselves to be the ultimate power in the universe).

I've yet to make a single purchase on Bricklink. There's no direct sale and sellers can take 2 weeks to respond, not a single store doesn't charge extra for all orders to Australia (not part of shipping or the conversion rate, but just an extra tax slapped on top), prices range from 'average' to 'crack is cheaper' and overall it's just not a nice experience.

yeah, also the whole wanted list thing is weird too

I've bought from Bricklink several times, never had a bad experience. I've gotten several hundred dollars worth of brand new Technic pieces on there for less than seventy dollars.

I hope you're joking.

Because, if not, here's something that immediately demolishes your argument:
Bionicle: 2001
Mass Effect: 2007

Now if you're thinking it's just Bionicle 2, that's still 2004.

If you thought I was serious for even a second, especially after you've seen the stuffty photoshop job I did on the image...

Your spelling makes me want to cry.

No, that's proper.

Well, one of the ways.

Lego - Singular/plural
Legos - Plural

no it's improper

the LEGO Company themselves have said that their toy bricks are to be referred to as "LEGO" in singular or plural, or when being specific in examples like "LEGO bricks" or "LEGO minifigures."
