it's the silenced cheese grater
really though looks p damn sick

turned out like stuff and doesnt resemble the real thing at all imo
ill try the materials I guess

EDIT: Notice the bumpy frame or whatever because plastic and the invicible scratches on the mag I PLACED THERE BUT BLENDER IS stuff WITH LIGHTS
forget

Also black weapons suck because theyre black

EDIT: I used a boolean modifier instead of using knife projects
Works great

Carful with that tool. Letting the machine decide where to set your vertices can lead to a lot of problems with lighting.
In my experience programs seem to want to connect all edges to one of the corners. Having too many vertices bunched up in one place causes weird lighting bugs or even loss of faces.

Well i just modeled it to practice subsurf and modeling
I dont plan to bring it in the game
Altrough I guess I can release the one without the subsurf modifiers in the game. If only I knew how to code

you can just go back and clean up vertices later if its really bad, mr nobody. but yeah blender seems to like to toss vertices and faces around everywhere.

well it aint called "blender" for nothin' :cookieMonster:

Well yeah, that's how I use it. But it's a lot of extra work to fix in case the user doesn't know about the extra work.

Heres the tec 9 optimized, positioned and scaled for blockland

Do whatever you like with it

The knob thing up top looks like it's faces got reversed.
(I don't know my gun parts)

Yeah I know. I think flipping the normals fixes it.
Also its called the bolt handle iirc

EDIT: Fixed an updated post

Dang! My first guess was right.

Also, that mess of vertices up top on the barrel is the result of a boolean. Luckily it doesn't do anyting more than up the polycount since flatshading is a stable way to light stuff.

Its the same mess you do when you use knife project and a solidify mod (if you model it out of a circle) so I doubt theres a way to make it look tidy
Well 1400 verts isnt really that much. Guns in modern games go up to like 10K. Also drawing verts doesnt stress the GPU much, and since blockland doesnt use much textures its really light on your gpu. It should be fine as long as you dont have an old piece of garbage from 1990 or something
