i think most people like it under 1000

the l4d2 weapons are all about 1000 or higher triangles and people say they lag so thats most likely too high

Why would a weapon be 1000. It should at most be 400-500.

Polycounts are usually based on the tri count so. Get the number of faces you have. Multiply it by 2 and there's your polycount.

thats inaccurate unless all of you faces are quads

the l4d2 weaponset polycounts range from 1000 triangles to 2000 triangles because i didn't limit it I made a mistake when making them and not keeping them low
