Easy you stand up in the long part, they put the candy in the hole in the top and tiny metal arms unwrap all the pieces in a micro second you then tilt it toward you to eat all the candy!

Yes, there were two straps on the inside to keep it lifted up, and the candy did go in the side. It was a bitch to wear though.

I just can't edit it, the file I have is a polyface mesh which is either impossible to edit with AutoCAD or I just don't know how to do so. Solid editing tools don't work on it, and mesh tools won't work on it.

You should try getting the .blend file, and export on blender. That might work.
