Self illumination in Milkshape. I built around the edges and set that texture to illuminating.

I finished the rest and put them together in a convenient pack!

Includes Regular, Green, Red, and Blue glows.
But I can't release them right now. They are for a private... something. I think I might afterward though. They are just prop items that you cant pick up. There's no collision, they just sit there and spin. Not too useful, but very cool to look at.

That could be very useful for me!
I always do this neat junk in the background as props.
and a spinning gear would be awesome.

out of curiosity id like to know if anyone owns a copy of zbrush

Looks like something out of a Daft punk convention.

That's Tommy for you.

DarkStar, when animating in Blender, how do you add keyframes?

Well it's still in alpha, some features don't work yet either, like bevel.
edit: wait no, beta now.
Bevel is a modifier now.

I saw Darkstar's video. is that the new blender? can anyone tell me if its better or whats good about it. I love the old one. I'm also not very good, and im used to the old layout.
Can anyone enlighten me?

I tried making a render with darkstars minifig, I can't figure out how to select one bone, when i try it selects them all,
can someone tell me how to select one, like selecting a hand?

Also I discovered camera movement :D
