I think you have it backwards.  The environment needs less polys than a character?  The thing you look at most of the time you play a game is the thing that fewer polys go into?

i dont think he was talking about the whole environment it sounds more like a single building or so = 1000 triangles where as a single character = 10000

turns out i'm actually pretty good (decent) at interior and exterior modeling, so i'm going to make another text based adventure game with blockheads and tier tactical and stuff, since the deep space adventure has died down.

further why can't goddamn shaper export as a .3ds or .obj, the two most common model filetypes in the history of everything

Don't worry, it's not deleted for all eternity, it's just not being worked on as i have went through every possible way to fix the texture and nothing, and i mean literally NOTHING, has worked, i've tried searching around places like Facepunch, no help, i've tried asking Facepunch, no help, i tried asking Marcem who made the Blockhead ragdolls, he tried, but the nothing worked
