I do too, it looks really cool.


I smell Mabinogi outlining.

I smell toon shading.


Basically, one takes the model, duplicates/remodels it around it, makes that black, and inverts it's face. This is for example how the outline of the old :D Ball add-on worked, taking advantage of how Torque (and most game engines) render things. I don't know if it's doable in Blender, but it's relatively easy in Milkshape and Shaper.

Well, Blender has a built-in function to outline objects in renders, as I demonstrated in

but it doesn't look like that, and to be honest, I prefer the look of the other method anyway.
