Hey guys. I finished my light cycle up and I was wondering...
I color it in blender but somepart like the wheel is attached to the main body and I figured out why it was attached after but how do i detach the wheel because it gets the same color as the body D:

 i can't do it in this version.
I just remember how to in the newer one.

Hydra told me how to seperate them (select all the faces and press P)
but now it still colors the whole thing

You have to create a new material, and then assign it to the wheel.
I think the answer is in that general blender help thread demian made
