Yes Shotguns are ironsights alot of the time a scope would look really crappy and wheres the pump?

What about plasticsights?

Generally you have Bead sights on a shotgun or at best a set of simple Blade sights, and mind you, I have seen scopes on shotguns, I've seen a few rifled-barrel slug guns about whilst on ranges with my ol' uncle.

Like deathwish said, shotguns can have scopes.
Slug rounds like saboted have a range of 330 meters.
