Nice models phy, but you might want to refine those collision meshes a bit more.
I probably will when I can export with other programs. When I tried to export with a collision mesh that was better shaped to the vehicle (meaning it wasnt just a box) then it would have problems in-game, such as all projectiles ghosting through vehicle. Milkshape dts exporter indeed sucks bawls.

Also; I believe you are past due to release some new cars.

Problem:
-Torque Exporter DTS Plus will flat-shade and produce transparent meshes properly, however all vehicle shadows are drawn from the invisible collision box. x-x

-TorqueExporter fails at flat-shading and transparency, however shadows are great. .___.'

My 4 planes in the picture have pretty windshields, but uggo shadows. :[
well in blender theres a triangle strips option that you have to export with to get shadows, does ms3d have anything like that?

No not really. Here are my options.

such confusing options, try sorting the mesh, that sounds like it might do something.

Sorting Collision Mesh with option "up" = No apparent change
Sorting Collision Mesh with option "down" = No apparent change
Sorting Collision Mesh with No option = No apparent change

Damn.

Delete Collision mesh -> click "Create Bounds" -> export = Crash on vehicle spawn.

Would be awesome if the 'Help' buttons worked at all.

This might help, though the documentation is for version 2.8.2 (which I am unable to find :c).

Of course the shadows are of the collision box. It's been like that since forever as far as I know. How did you get the transparency to work?

shadows are only the collision box when you export it that way, all the the default vehicles have there own shadow

(DTS Plus) Select Texture -> Edit -> Translucent + Additive

Obviously a work in progress:

You going to release?

Winchester model I made, wish I knew how to texture it properly :p

You going to release?
I would like to get normal shadows first. But for the most part its done and ready, so I suppose I could release soon and update later with fixed shadows.

Do it, looks amazing and not many people care about the shadow's look.
