Honestly who cares if it isn't an exactly replica of an M1911, Colt's patent for it ran out and then everyone and their dog was making near-identical handguns. Also heh, a threaded .45 ACP barrel.

i am loving mad at those handicapped companies that tries to make a M1911 replica. they always forgets it up, and peoplelike you forget it even more up by trying to make a replica of the replica.

and indyjones, I use images to get alot of detail correct, and you say i suck? have you even looked at your own weapons? If I wasnt used to see that low of a skill, i would have thrown up.

Keep your boner for M19whatevers in your pants, bucko. Why should you even care if someone makes a replica of some gun? It's a hunk of metal that fires out smaller hunks of metal and hurts people. Not really something to be mad about.

LOL! Many of the world's best modelers use references. Concept art is designed to get an idea of what something should look like before it is made. The making of Fallout 3 required tons of reference images and concept art for the buildings, map layout, and more. How can you even talk, your work is no where near good enough to be able to tell people how to model. I don't think anyone here is that good that they can say that tracing a picture is something only bad modelers do.

You trace weapons in Blender, thinking you have skill.  I create my weapons:
1) for Blockland
2) free hand without a reference image

I throw up looking at your stupid models, too
