Its considered beveling even without the modifier.

I'll reduce the amount of "Bevel" on it, but I'm still keeping the shape.

Sure if my computer could handle higher res rendering. I tried and all my cores went to 100% usage. Besides I have a loveier model in the work if I could figure out how one thing works.

I'll try again tomorrow, 1680x1050. If I ever get some lovey models done I'll do a thread and take requests for resolutions.

Result of a resolution being this high is making Crysis 2 look like a 2d platformer.
