[1x1 flat]

Goblet
The only fully legitimate lego brick there is the 1x1 round.  So what was that about lego bricks?

the bricks dont have to be from lego, the point is that it works

more lego bricks, less props

seriously, you could be doing some useful bricks like more wedges and ramps but instead you make all these pointless things like barrels or goblets, which you could build ingame.
Alright.

So then, how many uses does an upside down cone have versus the goblet?

What. It has way more. You use the goblet for a drinking device on a table, or maybe for an antenna if it's painted grey. You can use an upside-down cone for much more, because it isn't a cup designed for drinking stuff.

Like what?

What is meant is more bricks that are bricks instead of bricks that are objects

Wedge ramps would be really quite useful, for a start

Let's see, details, making a crappy version of another brick.  The goblet can be used for details and decoration.

"Single use" bricks are just as important as the more general use bricks.

See? You're way too close minded. You can use the goblets as details like on a building, lamps, railings, etc.
