Rifle looks fine to me, dunno why y'all are being such richards. Only change I would make is to maybe smoothshade along the bevel, but that's just personal preference.

its not even hard for beginners. literally the first thing i learned in blender was to extrude. i was smashing buttons and i hit TAB and then E and suddenly WOAH ITS MOVING ALL OVER THE PLACE
