i decided i wanted to make a short clip with my pet rock toby, so i turned him into a 3d model:

(theres some texture issues towards the bottom of the model, but that'll be hidden 100% of the time so im not too worried about it)

what i am worried about tho is the fact my model doesn't have a bottom:

i haven't even started delving into this myself, i just wanted to ask now to see if anyone had a quick answer: does anyone know of an easy way to fix holes like these? it doesn't have to be 100% perfect cus no one will see it, i just want to connect everything together

ya im not entirely sure what my thought process behind that post was, im working with new autodesk tools and not thinking clearly

BUT!! i did get it sealed and played around with the scene some more.

im surprised the outcome came out as clean as it did. the model needs more clean up but i like it so far

In blender just select the entire edge of the hole and do fill to fill the entire edge without any triangulation and ALT fill to fill and triangulate.

The Ranger Sequoia only holds 5 rounds Phant, so the way you modeled the cylinder looks off.

I know it only holds five rounds but I really don't give a stuff.

The cylinder doesn't even look good as a pentagon
