Author Topic: Ubuntu over win98?  (Read 2284 times)

Okay, so I have a pc that is currently running windows 98. I tried running ubuntu from the disk it doesnt boot from the disk, and when I click on it in win98, it says it's not ready or something. I understand that this is not a pc help forum, I wanted to know if there was a really simple fix.

stuffLOL.

I seriously suggest upgrading your OS, and if you can't run anything better:
Buy a new computer

Hit it with a axe

It fixed mine

no guise, that's not the loving computer I'm on now, it's my aunt's, she said she'll pay me much $$$ if I "fix" it

Boot from cd

(open the bios settings when the pc starts, And set first boot to cd rom)

Get Windows Vista. Mac is only good if you don't want a custom computer and a bad gaming experience.
