I think drums are more important though:

Drums are more important than guitar in a band assuming you have something else like a keyboard.

Guitar sounds better alone, though.

Keyboard just plain WINS.

Since I have both of my pinkies damaged from different causes, I'm not able to put a guitar to as full of a use as I possibly can. So I drum. If I need anything extra, I have my voice to take the place of any other instrument needed, so I already have a somewhat complete effect. I have yet to see someone beatboxing while playing guitar to achieve a similar effect. Although it'd be something interesting to watch.
