That kid is handicapped. A six year old could install a video card. You see something that you think it will fit in, you put it in, and it's installed.

Long one is PCI-E x16 for graphics cards and other devices that require high bandwidth. The really short one is PCI-E x1 for network cards and the like. It has 1/16 the bandwidth of PCI-E x16.
