Author Topic: The sims 3 pre-order..  (Read 2161 times)

Hey i was wondering when i should pre-order the sims 3. because i want it for my Birthday.

Would you get warranty on anything?

The goal of pre-ordering is the same as extended warrenty for the business.

See how hyped it is.

EA: Hey look, I found a cash cow! I'ma just keep riding it and riding it and riding it and riding it and riding it and riding it and riding it and riding it and riding it...

Still, The Sims is epic :D

Too lazy to edit:

The only thing I preordered was Halo 3, well, because it was over-the-top hyped.

Oh and spore...

Imo, I wait till the games out, or there is a way to get a copy early and ask those people how it is. *ehem*   Well, I guess its sims.

Ive had Sims 3 Pre-ordered since November :o

how does pre ordering work?

how does pre ordering work?
You pay them 5 dollars and they hold a copy of the game for you. When the game is released, you pay for it. Its really just paying them money to guarantee you a copy of the game. For a game like Sims 3 which will sell out fast, I recommend pre-ordering.

really? you don't pay for pre ordering in uk :o

they just take the money when they ship it

But ill probably will get sims 3. Just for the no loading screen stuff

depends where you order it. GAME take some money where I live, but you get double points.

No point in pre ordering here.
Games arrive weeks/months later and then only few people will even buy them.

But Sims 3 looks awesome.
Graphic-wise it looks similiar to Sims 2. But that game isn't about graphics anyway.

Game don't taker any money when  i do it :o

last games i remember that i pre ordered were super mario galaxy and spore

Graphics looks great, but the whole thing about promising to customize your sims, aren't you already allowed to do that? Lol, but anyway, if you want it, I'd go ahead and pre-order.

Just bought number two, but is Sims and online game? I don't remember haven't played it since the old game cube version.

There was a Sims Online game, but it was based off of the Sims 1 engine and not many people played it.

Sims 2 is great, though.
I forget which expansion gives this home item, but its this flame jet thing on the floor, and every so often it'll burst out a flame and light, and looks awesome. FYI, you can catch fire from it. Put a fence around it unless you want a gay firefighter to come, try and flirt with the household male (If there is one) and drive off the road and into the forest (If you live on a corner).
