I'm seriously questioning if there is one.
Answer: Probably not.

Answer: Probably not.

Find a religion. Give yourself one a reason to live.
Edit to fix.

I was depressed for like three months thinking about this. I eventually decided to just get a big ass tombstone, and at least be remembered very well by the people who walk by and say "What the hell, why is there a rock the size of a car here? Oh..."
Yay, a rock. That's really going to continue the things you thought and believed. What happens when the earth is gone? When your tombstone is eaten away by the Sun? Who will remember you then?

Sorry, I don't believe in stuff.

stuff - Things people pull out of their asses.

The meaning of life can be many things, think of it as a video game,do what you want before your time is up and you die  :cookieMonster:

I was going to add this onto my previous post, but you probably shouldn't think about it that way.

I already have a reason to live, Having fun with people on the internet :D

I had an idea.

What about an Open Source religion? Where you can change the things you think are unimportant.

That's the problem with religion these days. Their ideas may have worked for 100 BC, but they don't all work today.

Wikiholybook.com, lets do it people.

That wouldn't work seeing as it's corruptible.

Thar be no meaning other than itself.

This is just a post about 'The Meaning Of Life'

No ones know, and no one will ever know - And everyone's thinking about death from time to time. Just life a life, support the community you're living in, make babies, and carry on until you get so old that you die. After your death, your kids will do the same thing, and it'll continue for over 9000 years (actually)

Actually, it's more one of those self revelation things. Like a midlife crCIA that doesn't happen midlife. He'll question his existence and what not. Your post did not help with that.

Man Warren, you looked so happy in them pics. :/ *iHug*

Imagine a robot that spends its entire life making energy for itself to continue living, and making more robots. That's exactly what we're doing. We continue living, and making more of ourselves because it's in our programming. If we're able to stop doing these things, then why not? If you somehow gave the robot the option to stop its work, or keep pursuing nothing, which do you think it would take?

I don't really get. My life just took a turn for the better too. Maybe it's more of me realizing nothing will satisfy this hunger for purpose.

I used to have a similar problem as well. One thing did help me was a book by Joel Osteen. It's called "Your best life now". Granted it had a few random biblical references to push the point of how it could help a person, but after reading that, I've had a dramatic turn in my life for the better. Just a suggestion to ignore at your leisure :)

Meaning of life is to live no matter how good or bad it is, that's how I look at it.
