You still do, unless you choose to start in Iria.

It didn't give me an option to start there, that or I skipped it when I rapidly clicked the beginning thing

I used all 5 upgrade slots on my wooden blade. The result;

Normal 3 hit weapon
Attack 20~24
Critical 22%
Balance 36%
Durability 9/9

I kinda wanted a greater max attack power, but it has a great critical rate to make up for it. Balance is a bit low but of course that doesn't matter with a range of 4 damage xD

450 boss kills brought me to 27%
Even if I did all 3000 awful kills, that wouldnt finish it :(
