So I want to find good ol' dad, but Colin Moriarty, the forgeter, wanted 100 caps. I said no, and now I come back, and he wants 300 caps.

Would it change the major plotline in ANY way if I simply beat the stuff out of him and took his stuff?

Do it anyway. If the plot changes, then that's how the story will go. It will go because of what you did, and you wanted to do what you did. So then it's the story you want.

You should've hacked colin's computer instead. That's what I did because I batted him down before I could ask him where my dad went :(

You can get that info another way, also I once got locked in someones room in Fo3 D:
It was with some little girl also, it took 3 days for the guy to open his door again.

BTW, I have been everywhere in Tenpenny tower, but yet I killed Tenpenny and HE DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE PENNY >:O
