Well Valve said Gordan wasn't going to appear in Half Life 3, and there is Shephard sitting there in some dark place. But then valve make start with a clean slate and start of with a new character.
It can't be episode 3 with Gordan.

What. Bullstuff.

Half-life Opposing Force was going to made by Valve, but Valve had other projects. Thus giving it to GearBox to work on.

What is with everyone modeling wrist mounted computers (pip-boys) onto their mod character's hand models these days?

Plot wise it does seem to fit that Shepard would appear, since it has been established that the votigaunts (how is that spelled?) have severed the Gman's ties to Gordon. In the episode 2 conversation the Gman told Gordon of being forced to watch Gordon and not interfere, that implies that the Gman was pulling strings all along. Now the Gman can't pull strings but may still need to.

So it's reasonable that the Gman would be forced to turn to his other agents to fulfill his agenda. Whatever that mysterious agenda may be.

I don't think HL2 ep3 will have Shepard but it's not unrealistic to fit him into the story.

Agreed with the post above. And you better play as Gordon hl2 episode 3, Shepard would be ok I guess, but it
wouldn't have the same "feel". That would also probably mean less interaction with Alyx to.

Edit: Gman pulled some strings in opposing force, to. In the room where the toxic waste is rising and there's no way out, you can see Gman opening the door for you. And when you get to where a group of other solders are escaping in a helicopter, Gman closes the door so you can't go with them then stares at you through the glass for a few seconds.

This went from a discussion about how epic HL : OF was to how Episode 3 is going to turn out really quickly.

With HL2 EP3 we can get Portal 2!

Well Valve said Gordan wasn't going to appear in Half Life 3,

I love this game two.
But when i get to the teleporter to Zen, my game freezes.
Help please.

According to valve they are working on the problem, but I think they arent. They are probably working on newer things. The solution to get past the freezeing part is to use a cheat.
