Working fine for me. Do you have the old version of Ephialtes' Save Saver - it broke some things with fileobjects, so it might be that.

Anyway sometimes on servers a giant white screen pops up and/or a infinitive line of something,

Gets really annoying.

After a minigame was 'ended' by a client leaving a dedicated server after having crashed, the minigameSO seems to still exist. I was respawned with default tools but continued to receive minigame messages from Team Deathmatch such as scores and round updates, with the correct names showing the object is still there.

Question: Can't you just release v12 with the old brick rendering methods, and then release a public beta v13 when you may have made improvements to see if you've fixed all the problems?

I want to play, and also was going to show the game to someone, but it is simply impossible to ever start building, as it just gets all screwed up.  I also suspect your losing buys with people trying the demo, and it not working for them.  This is my graphics card info:





Related: I tried using a old v9 installer, but when you try to play the game, even with closing out the auto-updater, the game closes and wants to update.


Edit:I've also figured out it is only a problem with normal brick rendering.  When the bricks are trans or have a special paint effect applied, they don't break.

I'm not sure if this is a bug. But I changed my scale to the smallest and use my jets into a wall. This resulted in falling through the floor into a void of sky.

Random Glitches, stuff I know about them, and the fixes I've learned.
1. The infamous graphics glitches that forget up textures and throw faces all over the place.
Firstly, seems most evident in ATI cards, which, to no surprise, I have. I've also heard of it happen with nVidia.
The only fix I can see is to type into the console:

flushtexturecache();This seems to basically make the engine reload all textures, including faces. It will show
Code: [Select]
Using blank texture
Using Default Water Texture
Using Black80
or something similar in the console, and the game will repair itself. It usually lasts fairly long, depending on the brick count, as it seems.
This also works with the brick faces that stay after being deleted or fakeKilled.

2. Avatar Options while in-game seems to rape itself. Basically, the player model does not show up, and the only way to bring it back is piece by piece, by selecting a color and a part type. I can post a picture later.
There doesn't seem to be any fix for this, it also seems it's only me. Likely a cruddy add-on I'm running; Anyone else have this happen to them?

3. Buffer overruns, and Ghost Object crashes. Also do to faulty add-ons. Seems to be mainly prints, particularly Demians, but I've also had this happen with the firework launcher (Which was failed for this), and at one point, AGrenade (Now Grenade and Grenades, which work fine). All you can do is delete/disable the add-on; It also seems to only happen when hosting, not joining.

4. Also seemingly only to me, the cruddy Ice Jeep, or whatever, seems to cause a crash when I join. Any ideas?

I agree lare. In order to fully fix this issue (It seems to be gfx card by gfx card basis) you need a public beta so you can see if it works on all our gfx cards.

When I'm playing Blockland my GFX card driver dies randomly. I'll get more info later on.

What I can tell you so far is that I have Nvidia 9600GT as graphics card. As I'm writing this, the latest driver is being installed. The OS I'm using is Windows Vista (64bit).

Using /fetch on someone disables the fetcher's weapons but shows the teleport effect on the fetched person. It should probably disable both their weapons + effect or some other way. (Using F8, warp, etc. shows it on the teleporting person and disables it)

The weapon disabling is there to mitigate abuse from childish admins.  The fetcher's weapons are disabled to prevent them from fetching someone and then immediately shooting them. 

If the fetchee's weapons were disabled it would open them up to abuse.

I suppose the effects should reflect this. 

Yes, I knew why it was in place but the effects were a bit confusing.

Some people have been mentioning that using F8 to teleport takes points away from you as a Team Deathmatch bug - is this actually caused by my (or another mod) or was this added to Blockland v11 for the same reason as the weapons part?

They're pretty much asking for a re-release of V11, they might as well go re-download it.

Actually, I was saying a public beta of purely the rendering optimizations, just to make sure they work right.
