Actually it says on the top of the box: Requires you to have a steam account
And you can get that bundle on steam. You need steam in order to download garrys mod considering it's a mod sold for money.

Once you enter the registration key in the box, you cant use the key again

So once you install it via cd the cd is useless and you can use it as a thing to hold your tea

I don't know about this game, but I have plenty of discs that allow me to use the CD code again (But only if it's not being used on another computer)

I like the idea of the game but it was done badly. It serves to be repetative. It has all of one game mode to what I saw and that was to kill the combine/rebels. If you are thinking of getting a good DM game then try TF2 or CS:S or any other game along those lines. Yes, they are worth it.

If you lose your account info, then the CD is totally worthless.

Also, just buy a video card (If you can afford it). $60 can get you an NVidia 8600GT, which doesn't use a lot of power, and kicks HL2DM/CS:S/Gmod's ass.

Assuming it's compatible with your motherboard, of course.

Desktop. There aren't any dedicated GPU's for laptops to my knowledge.
