Seriously, how could we not have a common TDM mod released right now? It just doesn't make sense.

I'm starting to feel the same. I'm going to need one at some point.

Because Space guy is working on his and any competitors are pointless at this point.

True.

Then he should hurry up. :D

Want a clean port of Space's? I has. In a few days, it'll have a new saving system (Yay!) and I'll add a few events :D

TDM, Cops and Robbers, CTF, and Siege all work perfectly, as compared to other failed ports, they failed to fix the file checks in the code.

Running in a dedicated server also works

TDM GUI Bindings now appear correctly

So far, after many tests, there were no bugs, except for the saving/uploading (Which I'm currently working on)

At least it works. If you want, I'll PM it to you. Trust me, it really works, other notable people also used it. (Secretly, as I told them not to distribute it, as it will be a plague, much like the CityRP)

EDIT: The reason why I ported it is for the meantime we can do TDM's while waiting for Space's new version, as it'll own this old one.

1) there is only one other TDM port, that is skoposh's.
2) The current failed one is due to rykuta being a complete moron and releasing skoposh's port after being told not to.
3) The only feature your port has over the other port is that you got cops and robbers as well as siege to work.

Still fail.

1. skoposh's port cannot run on a dedicated server (EDIT: I'm not sure at this. Skoposh may need to correct me at this, as I'm unsure of the true source. I'll be happy if you correct me)
2. It broke saving/uploading
3. It uses incorrect execution of the GUI
4. It fails on some parts that it spammed on the console
5. Some parts that we're not fully set-up for the latest version

Also, I used the raw release Space had a year ago. So I consider mine clean.

How can I be "still fail" if I wasn't fail before? Generally the correct way to do it is to say "fail", then they make a stuffty counter-argument(see: your entire life) and you say "still fail".

1. and?
2. you said you were working on it, not that you had fixed saving and uploading. So yours breaks it too.
3. True, but again, pointless.
4. I have not seen this but it probably does. It is, however, pointless to note this.
5. Be specific. Although I fear you mean that you've been doing things that will be in the next version of TDM anyways.

Also, "raw release"?

You're getting so worked up over making sure you port a mod correctly when its going to be outdated soon. Shouldn't you be working on your dying battlefield mod?

No, you got me wrong on "Still Fail", I only meant the other ports. Sorry if you got me wrong.

1. I consider this as an important feature to be running
2. Mine doesn't break, as it's working, I'm not just finalizing everything yet.
3. It'll be a convenience
4. I know. I'm just saying it. Lol
5. I mean like, for example: the onConnect package. It still exists in their ports. As doing so will result to failure.

I meant on "raw release" as in public release last year ago, I call them "raw" as they come untouched by any other modder, but only the author himself/herself.

I'm not focusing entirely on this port. I just wanted it to work correctly for the meantime, as you mentioned "dying" Battlefield mod (I kept saying it already, its NOT A MOD, its a content pack. Containing few weapons, vehicles, and builds. Don't worry, I'm working on something that will lessen the download), it needs to work with Space's TDM, as any other TDM mod out there is owned by Space's.

What could be keeping Space Guy though? He must be working on something REALLY big for his TDM mod or something to take this long...

List of what I want from my TDM:
Teams.
Ability to spawn those teams in seperate locations.
That is all I want. Seriously. But it seems people want to bog down everything with "features" I could probably recreate with some clever eventing. But whatever...

Currently I am finishing off the 'Rules' section of the GUI. After this, I will need to do some final testing, probably with a public server or two and then it should be ready.

Does it use the same uniforms?

Similar, although I edited the Leader uniform slightly. The Team Editing GUI now opens the Avatar Menu, which means you can save, edit or load uniforms from your Avatar Favourites instead of messing around with menus and your own appearance to change it. You can also set team uniforms to blend with peoples' own avatars, so those with the alternate body set or different face colours can keep them, as if they'd actually put on a new uniform instead of being morphed into identical soldiers :cookieMonster:
