You can thank bestbuy. My motherdrive broke and so did my hard drive so we sent it to bestbuy, They were stupid and didn't know what was wrong even though they are paid to know how to fix it. They were lazy and sent it to california to get it fixed. Did I mention I live in new Jersey. So it took about 5 days to get there. With the lineup of computers that had to be fixed, it took about 4 days before they STARTED mine. Then the first day of them starting they couldn't figure it out, then they started repalcing parts a screwing with it so much that I won't even bother asking what they did or what was wrong. After fixing it which took about another 3 days they sent it back which took 5 days to reach bestbuy. After they did a confirmation check they found out that they broke the optical drive's cover. They sent it back to california which took 3 days and they fixed it which took a day and it is on its way back to bestbuy where hopefully I can go pick it up.

I got a Dell, it's Mother board, hard drive, and basically everything was broken from a trojan, I took it to Geek Squad at Best Buy, they kept saying 2 more weeks, 2 more weeks, they ended up sending it to Kentucky. In the end, it took a month and a half for me to get the Laptop fixed, they should've just replaced it, even the guy at Best buy said that.

You both have REALLY bad luck (or i have REALLY good luck)because i have a 7 year old dell and it works fine.
I don't use it anymore but it still works(i have a new mac now),
But i feel that a dell is a good work horse computer and seems to out last the others(or so i believe, but now"i'm a mac")

Sorry Qevil, won't be getting it back today. According to their site, it takes 3 days to fix a broken piece of plastic. Yea, that's right. Not a hard drive, not a mother board. That's all fixed. But a broken piece of plastic, the optical drive cover which should take about an hour to crazy glue the hinge back on and shove it in place but no. They had to send it back to california.
