Author Topic: Color Selector (just like brick selector)  (Read 1772 times)

I was thinking, with all of these colorsets we see; why not have a color selector!?
It acts just like the brick selector but your chosing what colors you want in your paint can.
When opening it:
1.-Have tabbed sections for dark colors, light colors, trans, etc.
2.Chose colors just like you chose bricks
3.Place them in your paint can pallet.
4.Use the like you normally would, with the paint can.
It would be in game, so you don't have to leave the server.
Also, you can add colors as add-ons, aka colorsets!

Epic Idea.
Thanks
I usually don't request it unless I think it is epic.

I don't like this idea very much. It would seem to take longer to reach colors you need. Versus just using your scroll wheel...

Well, i mean.. if we have TONS of colors in one color set, then.. only then would this be a good idea.

One word and the only one some people use:

Epic

It would be just like it is now, exept your picking what colors go in the pallet; and you can keep changing that in-game.

Are you saying that this would be implemented if we ever had bigger color sets?
Personally, i think its a good idea ONLY if we have HUGE color sets.

You mean like switching between different color sets?

It might lag when switching though, because wouldn't the game have to re-color all the placed bricks?

Or do you mean something like trunoes color set seperated into sections?

Not switching colorsets, placing what colors you want where on the pallet.

There goes my boredom... wait, why is it bolded?
        oh...

Yeah I was wondering myself the other day why we couldn't have what ever colour we want, but then again it could of something to do with the spray can making it not possible, but I don't know.

That could also be possible, have a color maker like on paint.net; you could then be able to save favorites!

Badspot mentioned why we didn't have a larger color set a long time ago. I don't have time to look for it right now, especially since search is broken so I have to use google.

Let me know if you find it.
