I'd like to be able to move both of them separately in "object mode".

is blender easier than milkshape?is it easy to make vehicles,ETC. with? is it simple??may i have a link to the website??(plz dont be rude) PM me back plz

google blender, don't be lazy

I'd like to be able to move both of them separately in "object mode".

Select one of them, and hit P.

When I try to export my animation, shouldn't I get a ".dsq" format?

Are the bones you animate supposed to be parented to detail32 as well? Im still trying to figure out why its moving when I move ahead frames.

EDIT: I figured out what its doing, its playing back animations Ive already made as I make the new one and its messing with the keyframes. I created a new animation with no key frames but its still animating the first one I made when I press alt+A or when I press the arrows. By animating the new one I messed up the old one and I dont know what to do. Help?

You can choose whether or not to export as a DSQ; Its not necessary, DSQ files require extra code to play them back in-game, and its simpler to keep it in the Model itself.

If I'm making a bot, don't I need to do it that way, with .dsq files? I don't think I've seen a bot that didn't do it that way. Thanks, I'll see if it works

Uhhhh, I can't figure out how to get the .dsq, could you post a pic pls? :3

Go into the Action tab in the Sequences tab in the DTS exporter. Then enable dsq for whatever animation.

Ahhh, thanks! I was exporting it all along, but it was named action.dsq. I was looking for an exported file called <myModelName>.dsq
Thanks for the tutorial by the way!

I don't get it I have the parenting in this order, but it doesn't work. Bone>Mesh>Detail32>Shape. the model doesn't show in game.

The bone is parented to Detail32.

so Mesh>bone>detail32>shape?

EDIT: like this?

Mesh>
           >detail32>shape
Bone>
