Garrysmod itself is NOT a sandbox game. It has a sandbox gamemode, But thats not the whole game. There tons of other gamemodes for garrysmod.

That's like saying STALKER isn't a FPS because it has an inventory.

Unless you install addons to Garry's mod, it's a sandbox game.

Melonracer didn't work in Garry's mod 10 (I think it was included, but broken). The one that servers run isn't made entirely by garry.
