Also known as MegaTen, this game is probably one of the best free MMO's out there, with a very unique story line.
The story stars as: A freak accident happens with a teleportation device, and a portal opens, letting several demons out. These demon's provoked nuclear wars over all the countries, and the world became a wasteland. People in Tokyo built a tower for people to reside in, but 3 demon towers sprang out of the ground around it. The only safe places are the nuclear bunkers.
You start out in HomeII, one of the several nuclear war bunkers. You are with an instructor, a Demon Buster. She has a demon, a cerberus. They help you fight off some of the demons that attacked the base. After some fighting and learning of skills, you go up to a door and your instructor and the cerberus were fighting this demon, some sort of boss demon.
You later appear unconscious in HomeIII, where another man teaches you further.
The combat is very good, a lot better than auto attack. You have a couple different attacks, some of them cost energy, others dont. You can charge the attack before using it, and then you can select a target. If you pull off a 1-2-3 combo with basic attacks, the enemy gets stunned. Some of the other features are that you can counter attacks, and sheild yourself from attacks, which will also leave you for an opening. You can also make friends with demons, and they will fight beside you.
There IS a storyline, unlike a lot of other MMOs. You can chose to follow the storyline or not, but my guess is that you can only learn new skills from the Acts (the 'chapters', or the 'quests').
So again, this game is free, it does take up 3.2 GB, but you need around 4-4.5 because of the installer. But if you have 4GB and you install the game, you can get rid of the installer which will give you back a gig.
