The HUD's system is fully working. You don't need to download anything, as I just updated the server. I already put a version number in the client file. The current version is 1. Don't screw with the version number. It'll only bother you. You can still play without the Client sided HUD's, but they're nice, and they improve game play (In my opinion).

I updated the client HUDs again. Not too big of a change, but I removed some pointless echos that I used before to see if stuff was working that would spam up the console.

Edit: I updated it again, v1a because I messed up a file location, and the HUD overlay wouldn't load right so. Redownload the newest verion and everything should be good. I will be hosting soon.

rechargeable flash light item

mod should disable the torch key and make you use a flash light


The light has a battery shaped HUD icon displaying a bar and the percentage as a number

when on, the light burns one percent ever 2 seconds and when it's off it charges one percent each second.

when used at 100% charge
the flashlight is at full brightness

but as it's charge lowers it gets dimmer

50% = half bright

25% = still enough to improve lighting

0% = flash light is completely dead

would be great for dark maps

if this is a good idea i can make the model in no time.

I like the idea, make a cool model, and send it over.

Just read since about page 45. The one major flaw I see here is that you guys lack coordination and are all over the place with ideas. Really you should work on that.

But as for the mod, I really like the idea and some of the stuff you guys made. I'm also in love with that map Lego posted pics of around page 50 - 60 (Guess'd) And that crate. Really awsome stuff.

I think people have the idea that we will add EVERYTHING they suggest and we will add what they suggest  right away. LegoEggo needs to do his part and update the main post with player's ideas.

Flashlight is too big.  Two small squares is how big the handle has to be.  Right now its four squares.  Other than that, looks hawt.

They cant even roleplay with it.
