No Invite and no Rename IMO. Invite would just be clutter since people can apply just as easily, and rename would just cause confusion. People changing alliance name every day, you know. People do weird things. And we don't want too many buttons, it should be simple.

I'm not tryin' to control the whole mod - if people think those commands should be there, they should. I'm just giving my opinion.

Well, if people want them later, we'll add it.

Alliances should be based on who is near other people, if they are not actively attacking each other. No unnecessary GUIs, no "he's not in my friends list so I attack him", it's whether the players temporarily have a truce and work together to survive.

That's the idea. GUIs make it more cool, official, etc. People saying "Truce k?" in chat is meh. Awesome GUIs are shweet.

A GUI would make it more official, and you should also make some kind of punishment if you kill a team member, when in a group.

Here's a combat knife for whoever wants to script it.

Also if you need ammo as an ammo pick-up item here's a model for that ( I'll take away the block).

As for scripting, i'm going to come back June 5th, when I get out of school. my schedule is crammed after school, and ill probably finish inventory as much as i can while im gone. you know how stuff gets highlighted in l4d by looking at it? im gonna do somethin like that, but save for later.

I do have a suggestion for you all though. How about variable temperatures and 10 minute long days? Every day the temperature would go up or down a little bit, and if it's high enough on that day you don't need heat/a fire. Yes? No?

I was actually thinking, since we have our 10min respawn, uhhh... rounds, we could make them alternate day/night. At night, heat runs out much faster, day slower. Maybe enough slower that there's a chance to survive without fire? But I'd really only like that in the mod if we get alternate day/night lighting too, so you can actually tell.



Players should spawn at the last fire they were near. Then ctrl+k won't save you, especially with that spawn time.

Edit: One more idea.
Fuel for vehicles. Running out of fuel in the middle of nowhere and being forced to build a camp would be win
