Alright, so I was bored.  I made a couple of melee weapons.  I figured that the machete might work with this.

Send me any models you have, and I'll get someone to export them and then I'll code them.

Just make shure that people can't go on killing sprees(like in other rps). Then again, it could be used to chop down trees or clear brush. Over all very cool, keep up the good work. :)

This seems like it is coming pretty well. I could export them all for you but I would need to export them in Milkshape.  Aglass, do you have Milkshape because you can export them from it and it comes with dts exporters built in.

I don't have Milkshape, I did, but the trial ran out and I can't use it anymore. Oh and Azimuth, You know how you were going to design a website for this mod? Do you think you could put a support section and forums so if you don't find the help you need in the manual, you can search on-line topics? Kinda like the Windows help thing. But I don't know, this mod is getting pretty complicated NOT to release. Right now I'm writing the contents, I have the GUI designed, pics will be up soon, and I hope to make it a meaty contents. I'll put in anything on the systems.

Is there going to be a crafting system implemented in to the mod? Such as you can craft items, weapons, ect..?

Couldn't you somehow look at the Variable mod's coding to make it add materials or something like that?

I'm putting the credits (and what I have) in the manual right now, everyone who is working on the mod, put your name in saying your name and what you do. Example:

Azimuth - Lead Programmer and Main systems
AGlass0fMilk -  Various Systems, GUI, and Weapons

I will look through this thread to see who is working, but if I don't put you in, please, by all means. Azi, if you can get a website up, I can't code in PHP, but I can do the Torque side of it, I want to implement some things into this mod using the Website, but if we don't have one, that's ok too.

Wait, is this like working already?

Azimuth - Designer, Helper, Webmaster.

I can get the site soon.  I'm hoping to connect it with the servers so we can have like online stats and stuff.


I'm loving this idea! It'll be the next CityRP, but less stupid.

EDIT: Crafting could be done through events (Variable system).
Also, who ever is making the map should make it dark so that you would also need light sources. The host would disable player lights. Then somene could make a torch item that would replicate the player light. Also, using events, you could name certain bricks "Wood" and when you hit them with the torch, they would light them on fire (Emitters).
