Agh, i hate this update, i loved the old way of getting Achievement Milestones, i can't find the weapons, i'm lucky i some how found the Jarate upon starting and joining a game in TF2 D:

And i haven't been able to get on the Vista computer since the update came out, the game is slow and dull looking on the XP Computer due to its ATI Radeon graphics card and 800 and something MB of RAM

I can't seem to join many servers cause of the update, i'm a tad sad about the Jarate not having a taunt, but then again, what could he do for a taunt with it?

And i just plain suck as a Sniper, and forget the Spy, i can't do much with him :/

I can't run TF2 D:

It says "Your graphics hardware must support at least pixel shader version 1.1 to run this game!"

What's that mean? D:

Ok, I do not understand the weapon obtainment system. So you can do one of two things

1) Kill a person carrying it: does the person lose the weapon?

2) Obtain it by a random "drop": Does it just say you had gained a new weapon, if not, is it just something lying around on the ground.

It's random, and it notifies you of your pickup in the chat, i.e. "PLAYER has just earned WEAPON!"

you dont even have to be playing (as in spectator)

they dont drop on the floor so its just random luck when you get one

How to fix?

I can't seem to join many servers cause of the update,

If it is the thing that I have, than here is what you do.

attempt to connect, and if a window comes up saying server not responding, click refresh. click it a few times, and clock join a few times. Keep mashing on those two buttons.
