I'd like to see a wrench that helps the engie out on the field.

I.e. something that allows him to restore ammo to other players and such.

Here, let me hit you with this wrench, and it will magically give you arrows :D

But then again, we are talking about a game where this Texas weirdo builds huge turrets with one tool and a box

I hope there is no Tf3 or above. They should just update TF2.

Looks like a tf2 mod...

I would think that would be the sentry? with a deployable robot to fire it :3

That was the first few bits of development for TF2. It used the older TFC models.

really? wow... So tf2, if it took another turn... could have turned into some class based fps with realistic graphics? (by realistic i mean the purpose of the graphics is to signify that they are supposed to be real people, not that they really look like real people)

You do understand that the game was first a mod of another game to include class based multiplayer stuff, right?

Wasn't tf a mod of hl?

Wasn't tf a mod of hl?
No... It is a mod of Quake or some other game like that.

TF was a mod for Quake
TF was then remade into TFC using HL1
TF2 was made using HL2

I believe thats the timeline

If by HL1 and HL2 you mean the Engine version, then yes. Although TF2 is a greatly modified version due to the graphics and lighting.

Hehe Brotherhood of Arms.  Should've kept the subtitle.
