Author Topic: Land of Riiga  (Read 8270 times)

I'm not so much looking for suggestions/feedback as I am posting these images as a way of copyrighting this as mine (and my brother's) creation. :)

By the way, I am aware that the "Land of Riiga" is already a fictitious world and that this Blockland version in no way represents that version.

The main field, looking towards the mountain.

The main field, looking to the left, at the ship and small forest.

The canyon/valley. It goes into the cliffs.

The town, Serten. It's quite small.

And there are more areas you'll see if you join my game :)

As I said, I'm not really looking for feedback, but if you really think you have to suggest something, I won't stop you. I am aware that it's very blocky. This is to reduce lag, as there are currently over 30k bricks altogether.

10/10 DUDE this is........AWSOME.

yes

dude yes

about time there was a non-stuffty epic landscape

more land, i say! more land! make a big mountain with a snow cap! do it!

Love how there are many colors of the ground. Not just generic brown and green. You used many different tones :D

Thankyou. I am an artist ;)

The mountain is already sorta snowy... I'm encountering some difficulties in our (my brother's and mine) building methods so I can't say how much more we'll add. Depends how people respond to playing the actual level, I guess :)

This is one of the loveiest landscapes I've seen in a long time.

Holy stuff awesome.

Amazing, simple amazing.

Could we have the save?

I must say the colors help pull it off rather well. The castle thing looks a bit iffy but the terrain itself is very well done.

No. Once I get my server up, you can join and play it yourself.

That's not the castle. That's a mere backdrop for the castle to let you know where it is. The real castle is quite detailed and is physically located elsewhere.

This is very artistic, keep up the swell work. ;D

the land of... where now?

however, wow, i really like the landscape.

in fact, this is totally reason enough for me to put together a medieval server with my new GLOVES system
