Okay, my theory of shy people is that they have no social skills so they can't talk or don't want to. That is, they stay home all the day and probaly play video games or something and only have a few friends at school. Anyone think I am right? If you aren't around people (besides family) all the time, you won't know how to talk.

tl;dr Staying home all day makes you lose your social skills

Staying home and playing video games is a lot more fun than having awkward social problems, even if you do have friends.

That may be, but some people are shy from disorders and some for no reason at all.

People I have classes with think I'm shy outside of class and people I hang out with outside of school think I'm a jackass in class.

Use a headset on a online game, or tell a friend to help you practice

I am very shy, I am ADD; does that mean anything? I have to take a pill in the morning to help me concentrate and pay attention.
