Its because of blood i cant get fable 2. Which is seemingly harmless to the parent eye, but when examined closely and thoroughly, its "extremely violent."

Fable 2 was a big let down, don't get it. At most, rent it before you are sure you want it.

If over-used gore is done right it always has a chance to be comical. Like the extra gore that Smod adds to hl2.

yea, Halo didn't really have that much blood in it, unless you abused it and repeadly kept hitting/shooting dead people, But most of the time, when you shoot people or covenat, its just smoke or a small cloud of blood that no one would pay attention to.

What the forget is up with modern games, all they are now is 23091293874019236549278340923 752390492034 gallons of blood.  What happened to the old, awesome games, when you didn't need to pop someone's head off to have fun.  Sure some guys use it well, like VALVe, do any of their games have space marines running around with chainsaw guns ripping everyone's faces off?  Nope.  I think Apogee is right with the Duke Nukem series, his lines just work, especially "I'm gonna rip your head off and stuff down your neck." As you see, it sounds like Apogee is making fun of the space marines.  But now, you're seeing games like "Call of the Gears of Halo 2347952" I'm starting to believe that "Close Range" will turn out to be a real game, and sell millions.  Who agrees that it's getting annoying?

I think Call of duty didn't have too much blood, it was going toward realism but realistically CoD5 still had underpowered guns realistically as well as little blood spatter (I never saw any) at most it was violent with machine guns ripping arms off but thats actually realistic. Never really played halo (otehr then halo 1) or gears of war, though halo one in this one room i killed a 5 guys and the teh room was painted with blood which i found odd.
