Should Badspot add more Moderators to the Forum?

He should, the unuseful topics are getting out of hand.
Sounds like a good distribution of power.
Meh.
No then we won't be able to post anything since the Mods will be on our backs the whole time.
Screw the Mods and don't let anymore come.

Double Toast/Bump.

So basically you just want people running around on a power trip?

No thanks.

No basicly I want the extremely power hungry people mainly in the Clan Discussion (and other places too) to stop making so many loving clans that die the same day they are made. Thats all I want... For Moderators to kill these clans that have no structure and are unstable from the beginning.

I guess he could make 2 new moderators like ephi and/or rotondo.  It is his forum though.
Rot is already an admin.

I highly agree that Badspot should carefully watch select people and see if they are fit for moderator powers.
Moderators should be able to move, lock, delete posts and temporarily ban (Up to 2 weeks). Everything else they need to get an admin to do.

That all falls on a little something called your own biased jurisdiction and stands on no relevant grounds as far as the actual loving rules go. What you're suggesting is having someone run around cleaning up what HE thinks is bad, but not what is actually bad ("bad" is what violates the rules).

Look no one wants some loving national socialist running around here, it's a chill place as long as you ignore the drama section and almost everyone frequenting here will agree they'd rather it stay that way.

Then why do most people who have seen this thread think different then you. They believe the Forum, our only way of real communication with eachother besides the Blockland chat, shouldn't be stuffted up all day long by people that think this is a spam board that no gives a damn about.

He isn't a moderator, and if I recall correctly he has even been banned before.

I like how you show up and confirm it. So whats your opinion on this topic?

uh,

If you was to put coffee in tea, would it taste more of coffee or tea?

Depends on several things:
  • Amount of either that is in the cup
  • Extreme taste of one or the other
  • What you were most used to
And why would you put your coffee in your tea?

Edit: Oh so your saying the Coffee is the Moderators and the Tea is the Blockland Forums so if you stick a bunch of Mods then the forum will be more Mod then Forum and vice versa.

Dude, he literally makes 20,000 dollars every 1000 people who get the Full Version. If he stops updating his sales go down leading to an inevitable fail. Don't protect Badspot for something that isn't even arguing about and I think he can take care of himself.

He makes 10$ per person about, half goes to garage games and other stuff.

Moderators are not a good idea, nooby topics just die normaly. And even when stuff get moved, its usually because people derail it.

more mods mean less image spam

I would hate to be on your server. You clearly don't know how to understand if someone is capible of power.
Being in control of a website is much differant then the forums. On the forums, the moderator knows that people "have to" treak him/her with respect. Being a moderator is a threat to other players. If Badspot chose another moderator, it should be someone who helped make the game.

Then why do most people who have seen this thread think different then you. They believe the Forum, our only way of real communication with eachother besides the Blockland chat, shouldn't be stuffted up all day long by people that think this is a spam board that no gives a damn about.

See and you take this stuff so seriously for some reason. Let me ask you what do you think is stuff? Next, let me ask you, does any of that "stuff" break the rules? If you can't tie the two together then I guess you'll just have to put up with your "stuff" because it won't be dealt with. There will be no need, YOU will think it's "stuff", what if I turn around and say it isn't? What if half the community is for the fact that it's "stuff" and the other half is for the fact it isn't? What then? If you leave it alone then half the community get's pissed, if you do something about it the other half gets pissed.

It would be allot less dramatic and less useless work in every sense if you didn't try to deduce whether it's "stuff" from how everyone feels about it and instead if it's actually 100% certified stuff based on whether it breaks any rules, regardless of what anyone thinks. Now everything is so much easier for everyone, just don't break the rules and you don't get in trouble, way easier then trying to deduce what a moderator wants/doesn't want personally, unless you have telepathic powers.

Like I said, it's a chill place about a chill game where you build with blocks in a non-stressful chill environment. You can simply ignore topics you don't like. It's better then having a moderator running around locking topics that don't fit nicely in their section and banning people for absurd things.

Let's look at a different question that I'll ask everyone that seems to disagree with me (even though no actual reply to my reply was made stating that):

If Oasis became a moderator, the only moderator, would you simply stop frequenting the place? Seriously would you want this guy running around banning people? The fact that it's Oasis doesn't really matter either, you could take any doofus in Clan Discussion, give them moderator and the end result would be exactly the same and just as disastrous. Please take both sides of the argument into consideration, that he MIGHT make the place a little bit better for you (probably not) and that now you'll have a new set of invisible rules made by him to which you'll have to abide, also they won't be written anywhere and/or will be completely nonsensical to atleast 2/3 of the community
