Downloading will only take another year....

My mom wants my to buy the Sims 3 so I can design our house, and make the additions on it so it almost looks like what she wants it to if we remodel. Thank God i found that extra hard drive.

Game is good. But it really lacks the choices of clothes and furniture.
And it seems to be much more custom content friendly than Sims 2.
Can't wait for some. D:

I uninstalled sims 2. Sims 3 does beat it, Tho lacking in content, Im sure the 500 expantion packs will improve that

(come oon sims 3 seasons! :D)

Oh no you didn't...

I'm wondering how the community downloads are going to work. Apparently you might have to pay for stuff.

It works like in Sims 2. There is folder "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads" where you shove all the crap.

If you want custom content from EA, then yes you have to pay.
But most of user-made content is free.

It also might come with more clothes and hairstyles when its released.

When you register Sims 3 you get a few more things, says on the launcher. But really its just a scam to make EA money that was lost in pirating.
