I downloaded it from a game website that even the trailer recommended and I waited from almost 4 hours for it to download, then waited for it to buffer, and then for all the glory I awaited, the loving installation app doesn't work. there goes my 50 dollars.

Or at least download it from a LEGAL game site, like EBGames/GameStop or EA Store.
That's how I bought Spore, and how I refunded it, the parts pack and the $5 download warranty I had on both of them.

Alright so, I need help here.
I have a new brand spadanking new computer, Windows Vista Home Premium (64)
Intel Core Two Quad
4.00 mb of RAM
and an ATI XFX Graphics Card.
One hard drive, 931 GB.

But yet, I cannot play the Sims 3 on anything above low quality settings, and even then its laggy.
Anyone know what the problem could be and how i can fix it?

Its a great game, the only thing I don't like  is how EA abused their so called "store" to avoid pirating by only giving you one nighbourhood to use.
and im not sure if custom content out of the exchange will be possible :\
